As you are all aware, yesterday was TAX DAY.
Clive is a Tax Day Procrastinator, so didn't even start the task until the morning of the 15th.
I just assumed that it would go pretty much like every other year, so I've been making plans for spending our refund. I've even been planning a trip to pick out my new bedroom carpet.
Imagine my chagrin when he called me at work to break the news that this year we would be paying the IRS!
Now comes the painful part ... transferring funds and writing out a check for $979!!!
Needless to say, as of today we are claiming fewer deductions.
