It's been far too long since my last post.
Rather than try to catch up (who knows, I still might try one day)
I think I should just look forward to the new year.
I haven't made a list of resolutions or goals,
but there is one thing that I think I'd like to try.
Anyone who knows me well is aware of my love of reading.
in 2009 I completed 100 books.
This year, however I'm feeling a real need to finish something new,
so . . . my hope is to read the Old Testament
from Genesis to Malachi . . . ALL of it.
Ouch! Did I really say that?
Wish me luck and I'll try to keep you up to date on my progress.
Maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll collect a little extra extra spirituality and understanding while I'm at it.

I think that you'll do it, even if you don't understand half of it. Actually, the Old Testamant is one of my favorites to read. Good luck!
Noble plan! Steve's done it at least twice; but I can't claim to have ever read the Old Testament from beginning to end. Let's encourage each other and celebrate when we finish!
